In 1972, a young Italian migrated to this country with dreams of becoming successful and making a name for himself; and so he did.
In 1982, he opened a little corner deli, in the garment district, which he operated with the help of his family. He named it, “Milano”, after what he thought was the most beautiful city in the world, next to New York City.
Thirty years later, servicing Manhattan, we have established our mark and continue to operate as a family business. We cater to our customers by giving them friendly, personal service. Our staff is knowledgeable and professional in fulfilling our customers' needs. We have brought to New York the food, customs, and traditions of old world Italy by preparing specialty dishes like Grandma used to make. (Have you tried our meatballs?!)
We are known and loved by our customers as we watched their children and our own children grow. We strive to remain a “mom & pop” business and stand tall against the largest of companies.
2012 marked the 30th anniversary of Milano Market. We thank you for your continued patronage over the years.
We look forward to serving you for many more to come.
